SUMMARY:



This position is responsible for production audits of the meat processing areas.


Responsible for overhead cameras and the operation of the cameras.


Conduct audits for Quality Yield opportunities, Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and Training.


Must work closely with the management team in achieving performance improvements in all areas of production.


Execute day-to-day audits and provide documented audits findings.


Must communicate audit findings with Management, Training and others as needed.


Educate managers on audits and findings.


Split shift hours.


Monday through Friday and Saturdays when production works.


Other duties as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS:



Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


Experience: At least one 1 year experience knowledge of Harvest and or Processing floor; general knowledge of production operations; product yields food safety product quality programs and USDA regulations; 3 plus years supervisory preferred.


Computer Skills: Standard computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook Excel Word; ability to create generate and maintain spreadsheets.


Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management.


Special Skills: Leader problem solver team player strong follow up skills self-motivated; excellent time management skills.


Supervisory: Responsible for investigating the root cause when opportunities arise and help with getting preventative measures in place. Will address discrepancies and ensure information is up to date in the plant for other managers when auditing their areas of responsibility on the production floor.
