The new Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) organization is designed to drive best-in-class capabilities across the board, to bring value and excellence in Sanofi's commercial operations across its global organization and in local markets. This will be achieved through process and tool standardization, the removal of barriers between business units, and reduction in capability duplication.
The North America Go-To-Market Capabilities Omnichannel team (NA GTMC OC) will support Sanofi's North American brand marketing teams to execute meaningful, customer centric, agile marketing across all of Sanofi's channels. The team includes end-to-end campaign management capabilities, channel experts, day-to-day operations leads, and a transformation function responsible for the organization and delivery of continuous improvement to marketing operations processes.
The NA GTMC OC team has been created to:
Unlock true cross-brand omnichannel marketing capability and integrating innovations that accelerate brand marketing outcomes
Free up capacity in marketing teams to focus on brand and content strategy
Accelerate and standardize omnichannel operations processes
Improve sharing of best practice
Clarify accountabilities for day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long term improvement efforts
Realize efficiencies and economies of scale across the North America and Global marketing organizations
The NA Omnichannel Strategy and Comms Lead role works directly with the NA Omnichannel Lead to develop and communicate the overall vision for the Omnichannel organization, ensure alignment across Sanofi's North America and Global businesses, drive continuous improvement to key processes, and program manage the evolution of the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision of the Omnichannel team
Lead and assist with the delivery of strategic projects that align with the Omnichannel vision
Reviewing existing capability development in the team and identifying opportunities for scalability, acceleration, and/or efficiency
Define, monitor, and communicate a set of impact-driven KPIs that measure the Omnichannel team's performance
Own internal and external communications, driving internal and external strategic alignment
Foster an environment of continuous improvement across the team, ensuring that all team members identify and participate in ongoing capability improvement
Own the relationship with the GTMC Hub, ensuring that offshore resources are enhancing omnichannel capability
Engage with finance, people & culture, procurement, and other relevant internal stakeholders
Own and track the budget for the Omnichannel team
Ensure strong cross-functional working within the Omnichannel team, and with the team's key partners
Drive the identification, design, and delivery of omnichannel capabilities across Sanofi in the United States that build towards Sanofi's customer vision
Own the mapping and integration of relevant business architecture (people, process, technology, governance, data, etc)
Own and program manage an Omnichannel roadmap that coordinates Omnichannel activities week-to-week, month-to-month, and year-to-year
Coordinate appropriate business input to key US and Global projects, and monitor local delivery of global omnichannel projects
Coordinate the delivery of consistent quarterly brand reviews to ensure brands' needs are met and that best practices are being shared across business units
Support the onboarding and upskilling of North America and offshore colleagues
Collaborate with Global, Brand, Digital, and other counterparts as necessary to deliver on responsibilities
Collaborate proactively with GTMC OC and other colleagues on improvements to day-to-day marketing operations processes
Contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling programs
Support the delivery of key transformation programs
Drive excellent working relationships with agency and vendor partners
Drive cultural change through the championing of an agile, customer-oriented mindset

Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or technology, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 years' experience in strategy or operational functions, or equivalent experience in a professional services context
Experience in a chief of staff or strategy role preferred
Experience of change management in a pharmaceutical, life sciences, or biotech environment, with tangible examples of success
Stakeholder engagement across multiple functions
Excellent written and oral storytelling skills to communicate vision, and develop communications plan with clear and concise messages
Pharmaceutical experience essential
Experience working in Agile team environment
Experience in working in a regulated industry
Experience managing external vendors
Proven ability to manage multiple high priority projects at once
Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment
