Responsibilities
3rd Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday through Friday
Pay Grade: HR130
Starting Pay: $21.38/hr
Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania plant for a Production Technician in Printed Circuit Boards. The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:
Assemble and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Install wires, leads and a variety of thru-hole components. Solder components and leads.
May be required to pick parts from the warehouse.
Troubleshoot minor assembly problems.
Perform visual inspection, minor repairs and rework.
Perform basic calibration using existing test setups or procedures. Use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
Set up automated assembly machines, making necessary machine adjustments for start up and operation.
Transfer finished boards and sub-assemblies to appropriate work area.
Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
Ability to:
Identify various electronic components.
Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
Understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
Perform standard software operations including SAP.
Infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
Use power and hand tools.
Concentrate for prolonged periods of time and regularly perform work that requires magnification.
Work in a team environment.
Wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 months manufacturing or other related experience
Experience Preferred:
Past soldering experience
