The Customer Support Representative will work with hospitals, clinics, customers, patients, and Medtronic sales reps to fulfill orders. You will interact with multiple internal business partners in supply chain, compliance, finance, and others to achieve shared goals. You will manage order-fulfillment by coordinating orders submitted by phone, email, fax, and electronic methods. Your ability to navigate between multiple technology tools, and learn SAP, an Enterprise Resource Planning System used world-wide, will ensure your success. Our customers and sales reps will rely on you to provide solutions to problem situations, ensuring we deliver service designed to meet patients' needs.

Additional Position Information:


  • The work hours for this role are 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time. Overtime may be required during fiscal quarter end and as needed to address high workloads.

  • This position will be hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote and employees must reside within a two-hour driving distance, and be able to commute to Duluth, GA site.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Represents company to external and internal customers, answers product-related questions, traces lost shipments, interprets, and clarifies customer orders for the shipping department, takes orders or registrations, and when necessary, may connect customers to appropriate support or field staff.

  • May manage web-based ordering or registrations, confers with management regarding customer credits, returns goods for credit, identifies quality assurance complaints, and writes price differentials on mail orders.

  • May approve allocation of stock in short supply, special price quotations and bids, pricing allowances, deductions, and adjustments.

  • May manage inventories at customer facilities using EDI (electronic data interchange), forecasting, replenishment, and inventory systems, focusing on stock and allocation issues to maximize service levels.

  • Perform other duties as assigned


This role is an on-site position that must report to Duluth GA facilities

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Previous customer service experience in the medical device industry with contracts, leases, loaners, large capital sales, and

  • Prior knowledge of Medtronic products and therapies

  • Excellent customer service skills and motivation to understand customers' needs and deliver efficient solutions

  • Ability to work well and provide great customer service in high pressure situations with a positive and professional demeanor

  • Skilled at computer navigation; ability to work in multiple applications simultaneously

  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong communication skills; clear and effective written and verbal

  • English fluency; reading, writing and speaking at professional levels

  • Previous experience with SAP and Saleforce.com (SFDC)

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Computer literacy (MS-Office Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Strong sense of responsibility and flexibility to take on additional tasks when required

  • Able to prioritize and work under pressure / cope with stressful situations

  • Customer-focused & service-oriented

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$40,400.00 - $60,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
