Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Strategy & Account Manager


Reporting to the Vice President of Growth Operations, the Strategy & Account Manager focuses on for providing technical expertise for strategic growth opportunities with government and non-government customers. This position will enhance the Leidos QTC Health Services reputation and expand its business by formulating and executing strategic plans by adding advanced technological capabilities to optimize current services, platforms and products.


The Strategy and Account Manager will develop and execute strategic initiatives, manage complex programs and apply expertise in electrical and electronic engineering to advance healthcare technologies and solutions. This position involves using engineering knowledge to plan, recommend and integrate AI/ML technical solutions to existing hardware and software solutions to drive both tactical and strategic growth. The position will also be responsible for targeted strategic campaigns focused on advancing engineering solutions to enhance operational efficiency


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Draw-in depth knowledge of specific industries such as public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities, energy providers, construction etc. to build strategy and customize solutions to expand the Leidos QTC Health Services portfolio in diverse industries.

  • Serve as Capture Manager for selected opportunities to create technical input for proposal, contract change requests, scheduling and budgeting.

  • Develop, implement and execute strategic plans to advance and deploy optimizing technologies (programming efficiencies, bots, medical devices, case management solutions) to automate and scale efficiencies and improve service delivery across organization.

  • Lead Strategy to Action program to implement electrical systems that integrate with technological advancements especially AI/ML for healthcare needs to provide solutions in telemedicine and health informatics.

  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and contribution to the Office of Technology teams for project design, development and integration, including all phases of system design and implementation of electrical and embedded systems for optimizing healthcare services and platforms.

  • Lead proposal development efforts and work closely with engineering teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to align engineering solutions with clinical and operational requirements.

  • Utilize simulation tools to integrate electrical components with software and hardware systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability of Electronic Health Record.

  • Provide input to the management staff across Leidos QTC, including Architects, Technical Project Managers, Business System Engineers, System Engineers, the Value Stream Managers and Product Owners, on product strategy and vision.

  • Lead and manage product validation programs by evaluating and incorporating industry trends and technological advancements to hardware and control panels of medical devices and tools for innovation in mobile clinics.

  • Conduct technical meetings with client’s engineering and management staff to develop market insight on requirements, assess current technology offerings, acquisition strategy and contract vehicle choices.

  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between key stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure successful program outcomes and address emerging issues.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of program progress, resources, engineering solutions, and strategic decisions for future reference and compliance.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions for existing and new medical devices, systems and platforms

  • Perform interface analysis, technical evaluations of electrical and control systems to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Experience in successfully executing projects primarily focusing on large requests for proposal (RFP) in cross-functional teams

  • Strong understanding of complex technology, regulations, and standards.

  • Ability to quickly foster relationships and credibility at all levels to build high-level of external partnerships

  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills

  • Solid skills with programming language (C++, Java), simulation tools (Matlab, LabView), Microsoft Office; Mastery of Microsoft Project; CRM and Project Management tools, Tableau a plus

  • Highly self-motivated


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline w/ 7 – 10 years of relevant professional experience. A combination of experience/education may also be considered.

  • Master’s degree preferred.


Pay and Benefits: 


Typical Starting Salary Range - $130,000 - $150,000 w/ up to 8% bonus eligibility
