The Department of Pathology is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to provide administrative and inventory supply support to the Medical Center North Liberty (MCNL) Laboratory and Phlebotomy staff. This position is 100% time, Monday - Friday, 0800-1630.
Duties to include:
• Support the daily operations of the laboratory and phlebotomy area.
• Initiate HR transaction at the request of others.
• May assist in the coordination/prepareation of stragic plans in support of the organization.
• Provides information and responds to inquiries from appropriate requestors
• Prepare and administer correspondence.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 months to 1 year administrative, office coordination, inventory management or financial management experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and service excellence skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience working in an academic health care center is highly desired.
Experience with University of Iowa policies and procedures.
Experience working with inventory management and/or supply ordering.
Experience working in a laboratory is highly desired.
Experience working in ELMS is highly desired.
