Job Description:

This internship will be a project-based position that will provide support to the Conferences department on key projects to improve conference operations and support a handful of current activities. The total expected amount of work is 37.5 hours a week for 12 weeks.

Key responsibilities:


  • Support conference planners on all aspects of conference organization, such as:

    • Creating certificates of attendance

    • Creating and sending visa letters

    • Proofreading promotional materials

    • Updating conference websites

    • Supporting contract and payment processes



  • Support Director of Conferences on special projects

  • Participate in conference vendor/supplier meetings in New York City offices

Qualifications:


  • College undergraduate, preferably a junior or senior

  • Able to work independently with little supervision

  • Able to communicate professionally via phone and email

  • Able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google
