Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a Trimmer at our Northland plant.
As Trimmer, you will:
Get knives, hooks, steels and cut resistant gloves from office.
Put them into sanitizer, which is the white barrel entering production area, before using them.
Trim meat following product specifications.
Knives are to be stored in a scabbard; never walk with knife in hand and never leave knife on table when not in use.
Cut away from body and avoid cutting towards other people
Must have cut resistant gloves on any time you are holding a knife.
Keep knife sharp at all times.
Use all designated PPE for work being done.
Inspect all knives for cracks and worn edges before each use.
Responsible for the production and yield involved with the trimming process.
When finished trimming, clean the work area, wash equipment and bring equipment to the office.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to work extended scheduled hours Sunday through Friday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs.
Must be able to successfully complete training:
Safety.
Safe Quality Food (SQF).
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)."
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Food defense.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior production experience.
Prior trimming experience in a USDA inspected beef,pork or poultry facility.
Work history in the last 12 months.
