This position is primarily responsible for managing and implementing our Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our cloud data warehouse (Snowflake) ensuring optimal performance for internal teams as the solution grows across the entire bank. This is a fully in office position located out of Green Bay, WI.
As a Sr Database Architect you will:
Design, implement, and maintain cloud data warehouse solutions (Snowflake and additional tools) that meet internal project requirements.
Monitor performance and tune for optimal storage and processing utilization.
Provide technical and consultive support to partnering teams.
Administer and maintain warehouse users and role permissions.
Identify automation opportunities for internal processes and procedures.
Author and maintain internal documentation.
Responsible for data aggregation between multiple datasets with varying data structures aimed at creating efficient data streams for analytics and automation.
Leverage Snowflake functionality and apply these capabilities to improve current business processes (systems such as Alteryx, Tableau, RPA Tools, PowerBI, Salesforce, etc.)
Evaluate and resolve issues and errors found within systems, maintaining the credibility and integrity of the data.
Work across many different enterprise systems / processes while maintaining company confidential information standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or General Business preferred
3+ years of experience in database/warehouse administration required.
Experience with banking industry, big data, and/or data visualization is a plus.
Experience with SQL and Python preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse sizing, ETL architecture, star-schema data models, and data transformation best practices is required.
