PURPOSE: This position is to add value to the company s bottom line by managing all materials used at a complex including all aspects of that usage.



PROCEDURE: Maintain supply ingredient and material inventory control Supply Chain Logistics for inbound and outbound materials Manage the procurement of goods and services Provide all required information to other departments input required data into SAP BOM MMG that relate to materials purchase Receipt and material issues Minimize or eliminate variances Arrange personnel that manage the inventories Establish and maintain stocking levels Maintain visibility and the ability to report and track freight expenses Arrange for and schedule freight coordinate shipments with inventory management production scheduling plant maintenance needs an economic order quantity. Maintain business relationships with suppliers Order materials quantities that meet production needs manage the Purchase to Pay process organize coordinate track and sometimes manage projects Plan and maintain operational budgets Cooperate and support all Corporate Purchasing policies Coordinate with all levels of management Work on a daily basis to improve cost and pounds produced Track and review all inbound loads Evaluate new products and discuss new processes, Monitor inventory levels of ordering as needed Ensure all products are run within the agreed code date specifications Ensure all shipping locations get accurate shipping instructions Other duties as assigned Overtime as required.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Vision-100 Hearing-100 Manipulation of arms hands fingers legs feet-100 Standing Walking-25 Sitting-75 WORKING CONDITIONS: Extreme cold inside outside heat noisy odors electrical hazards exposure to falls and strains. Working alone and with others.



REQUIREMENTS:




Experience: Experience at least 3-5 years



Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Accounting, and/or Logistics preferred. Computer skills Microsoft Office applications Tyson business computer systems SAP MMG BOM and PPS Good verbal math and written communication skills.



Travel: 1-12 plus trips year.



Communication Skills: Must be able to speak clearly, listen and understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Ability to express ideas and concepts clearly in writing and understand the same.



Computer Skills: Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook at the intermediate level. Experience with SAP a plus.



Position-Specific Requirements: Some weekend work required.
