Our client, an industrial company, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join their team!
Hours: 8am-5pm
Shift: Monday-Friday
Starting Pay rate: $21/hr
Job duties include but do not limited to:
Shipping & Receiving: Prepare, package, and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
Order Accuracy: Verify order details, labels, and barcodes.
Team Collaboration: Work with team members to improve processes and ensure safety.
Productivity & Efficiency: Streamline operations for speed and accuracy.
Paperwork: Manage shipping and inventory paperwork.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with customer service, purchasing, and accounting to resolve issues.
Problem Solving & Logistics: Address shipping challenges and coordinate package deliveries.
Inventory Management: Track incoming goods and maintain accurate records.
Returns & Quality Control: Handle product returns and inspect all shipments for quality.
Requirements:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently
Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
Basic computer and shipping software knowledge (UPS/FedEx online) required
Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift items.
