The Nutrition Program at North Central College invites applications to teach courses as a faculty associate during the 2024-2025 academic year. The successful candidate will teach one or two undergraduate (Nutrition Science, B.S) courses per semester. The role requires someone who can deliver course content, contribute to the creation of assignments and other assessments, evaluate and grade student work, and hold office hours to assist students.
These appointments are on a course-by-course basis. This posting is continuous to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. https://www.northcentralcollege.edu/program/nutrition-scienceFaculty Associate (adjunct) positions are hired on one semester, renewable contracts with loads that do not exceed 8 credit hours; one course per semester is the norm. The standard undergraduate course is 4-credit hours (though other course types exist). The position is a non-benefits eligible, fixed-term appointment with no tenure eligibility. The number of courses is contingent upon unit needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment.
