JOB SCOPE
Responsible for extracting and analyzing data from various sources, including databases,
manual files, and external websites. Responds to data inquiries from various groups within the
organization. Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and adhoc reports. Documents
reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required. Requires
experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources such as databases, files, and
APIs.
 Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within
the data.
 Develop and maintain databases, data models, and data pipelines to ensure efficient
data storage and retrieval.
 Create and automate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights to
stakeholders.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
provide data-driven solutions.
 Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate findings and make data-
driven recommendations.
 Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies or anomalies.
 Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with
regulatory standards.
 Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data analysis and data
management.
 Support ad-hoc data requests and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 Three or more years of experience working as a data analyst or in a similar analytical
role.
 This individual has experience with being on a team that is growing - Flexible and
openness to change.
 At a minimum - basic python understanding (Plotly)
 Proficiency in data querying languages such as SQL (Structured Query Language) and
PostreSQL for relational databases.
 Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate
significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
 Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms to create
compelling visualizations with dashboards.
 Capable and confident in presenting analytical findings to stakeholders with a focus on
highlighting the value of said findings.
 Understanding of general data engineering best practices and/or capability to
collaborate with data engineers to figure out the "what/how" of data pipelines.
 Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools for data exploration and
modeling.
 Familiarity with data management principles and best practices, including data
cleansing, data integrity, and data governance.
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present findings and
insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as
collaboratively in a team environment.
 Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
 Bonus: Telecom experience.
