The Home Care Scheduler is to provide efficient administrative services to the PCS department, resulting in the delivery of excellent internal customer service.
Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Minimum two (2) years administrative experience; one-year staffing/scheduling and/or Human Resources experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, E-mail and the Internet.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects to a deadline.
Well-developed oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; consumer focused
High degree of professionalism; ability to deal with extremely confidential information
Essentials:
Oversee the staffing process; develop, maintain and update the PCS schedule one-month in advance; ensure that agency staff has all the legal requirements prior to assigning them duty in the facility; assist the PCS Manager, Director of Clinical Operations and Executive Director in meeting the staffing budget goals by acting as a communications liaison, reconciling agency staff bills against schedules, and by tracking agency hour usage.
Develop and maintain a good rapport PCS Staff to ensure their willingness to be flexible and to pick up hours when needed.
Provide clerical support and assisting in various projects for PCS Department.
Communicate schedule changes to Participants.
Communicate Participant concerns and issues with family members and caregivers.
First point of contact / Liaison between PCS Manager and staff, contracted agencies and participants, ensuring all requests and issues are dealt with an appropriate, timely fashion.
Provide guidance to CNAs and PCAs on how to resolve issues and complaints that arise with the participants and / or their environment.
