ANDRITZ Metals USA Inc is seeking a Lucas Mill Operator for our facility in Callery, PA. Under the direction of Foreman , the Lucas Mill Operator is responsible to set up and operate a Lucas Mill.
Requirements
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items
Receives drawings, sketches, instructions, etc. from the foreman or assistant foreman.
Sets-up the machine from drawings and instructions. Select proper feeds and speeds.
Loads material into the machine manually or with the aid of the jib hoist. Positions, aligns and clamps as required.
Operates in rough and finish milling of keyways, grooves, flats etc.
Uses measuring instruments such a micrometer, squares, indicators etc.
Unloads finished pieces manually or with the aid of the Jib crane.
Grind tools as required.
Moves materials to and from machine area.
Reports defective material or faulty equipment
Performs minor repairs or assists in major repairs
Lubricates equipment and maintain machine and area in a clean and orderly manner
