Scope 


Boise Cascade is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Total Rewards Coordinator to join our Total Rewards team to support the associate benefits and compensation programs.  The ideal candidate will provide excellent service to both internal associates, HR teams and external vendors.  This role will work of out of the Corporate HQ offices in Boise, ID and has some potential for remote work.


Responsibilities 



  • Support the Total Rewards team in implementing and managing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing associate engagement and satisfaction with overall compensation and benefits offerings. 

  • Support the management of associate benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. 

  • Assist in the administration of associate compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and data collection. 

  • Respond to associate inquiries regarding compensation and benefits, providing accurate information and guidance. 

  • Assist with the open enrollment process, including preparing communication materials and conducting informational sessions. 

  • Collaborate with the HR COEs, HR leaders and HRBP team to support various projects and initiatives related to compensation and benefits. 

  • Help prepare and analyze compensation and benefits reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal regulations, and best practices related to compensation and benefits.

  • May work with external customers and vendors to support total rewards programs.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.  May perform audits to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Work with third party vendors to deliver quality service and programs. Plan and facilitate vendor meetings and work with analysts to ensure compliance with plan provisions.

  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement through the mindset and cultivation of agile practices and principles.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications 



  • High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on compensation and benefits preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.

  • Familiarity with compensation structures, benefits administration and HRIS systems.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
