Come join our growing team!  We are currently looking to add Brake Press Operators!  We offer starting pay up to $23 per hour and a $1000 Retention Bonus!

First Shift hours are Monday – Thursday 5:45am to 4:15pmwith overtime on Friday’s as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Previous brake press or machining experience


• Operates press brakes to fabricate sheet metal in accordance with prints and specifications.


• Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.


• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.


• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.


• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.


• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.


• Conducts appropriate machine maintenance and maintains the brake tooling.


• Responsible for the quality of parts leaving the machine.


• Keeping up with an outlined schedule of work.


• Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.


• Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 pounds through physical exertion and overhead hoists, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending.


• Basic mathematic knowledge and skills.


• Ability to read job specifications to determine machine adjustments utilizing blueprints and measuring devices; and perform basic computer data entry.


• Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet schedule or team needs.

• Excellent time management skills


• Understands precision sheet metal requirements.


• Ability to safely operate the Press Brake Machine.


• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.


• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.


• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Able to lay out parts by hand with an understanding of bend allowances utilizing both inside and outside dimensions.


• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
