We are looking for talented professionals to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Fills medication orders, maintains appropriate stock of pharmaceutical supplies, delivers medications to, and returns medications from nursing units.
Performs independent tasks, higher risk patient population and specialized complex pharmacy services.
Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot issues both technical and clinical at a higher level.
Technicians at this level must be proactive and apply critical thinking skills and are able to work independently and achieve optimal results.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration is required.
Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program approved by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
Minimum of 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician required.
National Pharmacy Technician Board Certification within 6 months of hire is preferred.
Specialty Posting Recommendations (ex. Nursing Spectrum): Need requires at least 2 year in-patient pharmacy technician experience. IV preparation certification preferred

Pay Range: $19.85-$28
Other Compensation (if applicable): Up to $1200.00 Sign-On Bonus, Qualifying Shift Differentials
