Description
The International SEVIS & CRM Manager will support the International Student Services (ISS) office’s Admissions and International Advising through system management; data reporting, integrity, and processing of the SEVIS system and Slate (CRM) systems. Work responsibilities will focus primarily on F-1 and J-1 students, to include helping with workflow issues, training staff, managing rolls for staff in the CRM, creating/modifying email templates, developing enrollment management workflows, data management, application development, and application implementations. And assisting with batch processing, reporting, check-in, and records updating in SEVIS.
Examples of Duties
System Oversight & Management - 50%
Develop and manage daily functions o fCRM recruitment and retention solution which include but are not limited to event management, communications and campaigns, web forms, email marketing, enrollment management workflows, communication channels, early alert workflows, advising, and planning.
Manage new and continuing F-1 and J-1 student batches from Slate to SEVIS.
Manage SEVIS- and Slate-related database maintenance and data clean-up services as needed (duplicate records, data inconsistencies, archiving, etc.).
Assist student SEVIS Manager and Director of International Services Systems with new student SEVIS registration.
Perform system audits to ensure the integrity and consistency of data in Slate and campus databases with SEVIS data and manage the correction of any inconsistent data.
Maintain and update International Student Services webpages in coordination with IMC and other ISS staff; integrate website functionality with CRM and other technology
platforms.
Responsible for updating, maintaining and documenting the software configurations including updates, managing requests for enhancements, field changes, settings, etc.
Work with the Director and Assistant Director to address in-office and campus-wide projects
Regulatory Compliance & Communication - 20%
Monitor effectiveness, timing and integrity of all recruitment and retention communications.
Serve as a primary manager and internal expert ofCRMrecruitment and retention solutions and act as the main point of contact for vendor.
Provide leadership and collaborate with departments and cross-functional teams to develop continually evaluate, and improve business processes and overallCRMinitiatives.
Act as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO).
Assist in monitoring international student and scholar compliance with government regulations.
Assist with monitoringSEVISand Slate alerts for students and scholars.
Co-leadSEVISregistration andSEVISvalidation processes at the beginning of each semester.
AssistPDSOwith reports and information needed for I-17 recertification and updates.
Reporting and Data Management - 20%
Build yearly updates, additions including programs, requirements, communication plan changes, assignment rules. Work with IT staff on integration of data and establish strategies for shared data integrity.
Understand and effectively utilize reporting tools to fulfill institutional reporting needs for enrollment management and student status and compliance.
Serve on various cross-departmental teams to ensure the CRM is appropriately designed to support data and systems across campus, improve level of understanding of institutional data and processes and to improve technical and data management skills
Professional Development and Training - 10%
Remain current with SEVIS-related and regulatory updates pertaining to international students and scholars to ensure institutional compliance.
Stay active in professional development networks to keep current on innovations related to recruitment and retention solutions.
Other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director
Typical Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Database Management, Humanities, or related field required
Education may be substituted for experience or experience may be substituted for education. Note that equivalencies are based on the following: AA = 2 years experience; BA/BS = 4 years experience.
Experience:
2 years experience working with CRM in higher education or content management system and relevant web application systems preferably with recruitment and admissions required.
Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing required.
Experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting data to produce reports preferred.
Experience working with SEVIS in an international student office preferred.
Supplemental Information
This position works Monday-Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm
