Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and implement a robust metadata management framework to ensure comprehensive data tagging and classification across the data lakehouse.
  • Develop and manage technical and business data catalogs that provide clear, accessible views of data assets across the organization.
  • Oversee data access management strategies, ensuring that data entitlements are appropriately defined and enforced based on business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and enforcement of data quality standards, monitoring, and improvement initiatives across the data lakehouse.
  • Implement and manage reference and master data management solutions to ensure consistency and accuracy across the data ecosystem.
  • Develop and enforce data privacy and security policies in alignment with industry regulations, ensuring that sensitive data is protected throughout its lifecycle.
  • Establish and lead data stewardship programs, promoting best practices in data management and ensuring data assets are well-governed and maintained.
  • Manage both structured and unstructured data within the AWS Cloud platform, ensuring efficient storage, access, and utilization.
Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data management, with a strong focus on cloud-based environments.
  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and data lakehouse architecture.
  • Proven track record in metadata management, data governance, and data quality management.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in the financial domain.
  • Experience managing both structured and unstructured data within cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in data cataloging tools, data lineage tracking, and data masking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
