Your new role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from start to finish. Your focus will be on central energy plants, particularly chilled water plants.
Developing utility plant load models and capacity models.
Providing technical assistance on plant design and hydronic systems.
Conducting surveys to ensure compliance with standards.
Creating construction and installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Incorporating advanced technology and modeling techniques in designs.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
Mentoring and training entry-level engineers.
Ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies.
Preparing technical design reports and presentations.
What you'll need to succeed
10+ years of experience in mechanical system design.
Licensed Professional Engineer.
Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Experience with Autodesk design products, Hydraulic Modeling, and load modeling software.
Strong project management skills and leadership abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
