Sr. Director of Business Development and Product Management
The Sr. Director of Business Development and Product Management at JBT is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our product lines through strategic business development initiatives and comprehensive product management. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in sales, marketing, and product/business strategy, capable of identifying market opportunities, developing business plans, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. The Sr. Director of Business Development and Product Management will be required to identify, qualify, and engage with large enterprise customers on total automation projects building sustainable growth for the company. You will be responsible for defining the strategic roadmap of the company supported by technology roadmap, strategic partnerships, customer value initiatives, and new revenue/business models.

Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth, margin expansion and market share growth towards doubling the size of the company in the next 3-5 years.
Lead the product management team in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
Align product strategies with overall business objectives and market demands.
Collaborate across AGV senior leadership to achieve company objectives.
Market Analysis and Business Development:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and markets.
Product Management:
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch performance.
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and sales teams to ensure product alignment with market needs.
Manage product pricing, positioning, and competitive analysis.
Develop a lifecycle management value proposition leverage through our customer care segment. Capable of capturing growth opportunity coming from wear and tear programs, predictive maintenance, and data analytics. Performance as a service. Explore pay-per-move models as additional revenue growth initiatives.
Sales and Marketing:
Lead the sales team to develop sales strategies and support key sales initiatives for large enterprise accounts.
Expand in other industry verticals where AGV value proposition can generate additional growth. ie; construction. military, infrastructure
Develop marketing plans and promotional strategies to drive product awareness and adoption.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Lead the full adoption of Salesforce as the single source of reference for prospecting, opportunity funnel management and order forecast generation.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development and product management team.
Foster a collaborative, innovative and results driven team culture.
Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, drive the performance of the team by providing continuous feedback and performance-based incentives.
Recruit, nurture, and retain diverse talent to expand the team’s capabilities and prepare for future challenges.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required.
MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, and product management.
Proven success track record of driving business growth and managing successful product portfolios.
Experience in the business transformation, company turn around and in a fast growth environment driven by technology and innovation.
