Ledgent is partnering with a company to support contract Accounts Receivable project. This is a fully remote opportunity. The contract will be from November to February and is Full-Time.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process and record customer invoices, ensuring all necessary details are complete and correct.
Track accounts receivable, review aging reports, and monitor outstanding payments.
Investigate and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies that arise with customers.
Take proactive steps to follow up on overdue payments through emails, phone calls, or other suitable communication methods.
Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address any customer inquiries or concerns related to accounts receivable.
Ensure customer payments are received, applied, and recorded promptly and accurately.
Reconcile customer accounts to confirm correct payment allocation and address any discrepancies.
Handle the processing of various payment types, including credit card payments, checks, and electronic funds transfers.
Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile bank deposits and resolve any inconsistencies.
Engage with customers to negotiate payment arrangements, resolve any disputes, and respond to general inquiries.
