Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Student Leadership and Learning serves as a student-centered and identity-conscious member of the Student Engagement and Belonging team strategically developing, tracking, supporting, and executing co-curricular programming initiatives as part of the vibrant Clark Experience. This highly collaborative position works with the Division of Student Success, Dean of the College, faculty, Athletics and Recreation, and Advancement and Alumni to cultivate and organize signature experiences for students that enhance student learning, meaning making, and career readiness, ensuring delivery of student success outcomes.
Reporting to the Director of Student Engagement & Equity, the Assistant Director manages student events and pathway programs of the Clark Engage (Anthology) platform, meeting with students and campus partners to develop learning outcomes, books and facilities events, and creates an organized co-curricular experience for students. The Assistant Director regularly assesses participation and student-learning, runs reports, supports student meaning-making, and ensures comprehensive overview and engagement records are part of students' e-Portfolio. The Student Engagement & Belonging team encompasses three previous areas including Student Leadership and Programming, Community Engagement and Volunteering, and Identity, Student Engagement, and Access (ISEA), as well as e-sports. The Assistant Director will be an integral part of the Division of Student Success.
