As an Operations Co-op, you will provide technical support primarily to plant operations groups and is responsible for plant troubleshooting, testing and optimization. Serves as a driver for change and innovation at the assigned site and leads other team members through influence.

Term



January 13 - April 25, 202.


Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week.



What will you do?



  • Optimize evaporation circuit and filtration equipment.


  • Streamline evaporators and filters.


  • Perform duties as assigned.



What do you need for this role?



  • High School Degree required.


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, orrelatedfield preferred.


  • 2.75 GPA or higher


  • Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.


  • Student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship.


  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is required.


  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.


  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.


  • Basic computer skills are required.


  • Experience working in a team environment is a must.


  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.


  • Effective verbal communication skills are a plus.


  • Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.


  • Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete thefollowing:Post-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
