Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Principal Air Quality Engineer to join our Sustainable Operations team, in a Texas office such as Austin, Dallas, or Houston. This job can also be performed remotely from a location that is within driving distance to any Arcadis US office. This will be a hybrid/remote role with occasional visits to client sites.
In this role you will work directly with the North American Air Quality and Noise Community of Practice Leaders to grow the Gulf Coast air quality practice and provide support to our key clients. You will be responsible for leading Gulf Coast based air quality projects such as air permitting and compliance support, regulatory applicability and strategy development, emissions inventory development and reporting, engine and ozone depleting substances compliance, greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability reporting and/or air dispersion modeling. You will also support sales and marketing efforts in the Gulf Coast by meeting with clients, writing proposals, and leading technical projects to deliver excellent Air Quality Services.

Role accountabilities:
This role includes performing a wide variety of air quality services for clients in industries such as chemical, oil and gas, manufacturing, automotive, and transportation. While your project focus will be air quality, you will have the opportunity to participate in other environmental compliance projects within our Sustainable Operations (SO) group.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116000 - $174000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
