Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using the latest AWS services, such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon EMR.
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand their data needs and requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts, while implementing robust data governance and security measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing technical guidance and mentorship to the broader data team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, contributing to the continuous improvement of our data platform.
Required Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on cloud-based environments.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, SQL, and Python.
  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services, including AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, and AWS Kinesis.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts, as well as experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of data modeling and data architecture, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:


  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Certifications in AWS data architecture or cloud architecture.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless computing.
  • Understanding of domain-driven design and microservices patterns.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS or data engineering.
