Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Director of Technology Innovation to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. You will be joining a highly skilled and motivated team in a large global, publicly traded, critical digital infrastructure provider.
What You'll Do
Responsible for evaluating new technologies, business partnerships, and programs for implementation within the CTO organization, especially those focused on analytics and workflow automation using AI.
Design end-to-end operational performance improvement and scaling solutions, weaving together process re-design, automation, and/or AI levers to optimize solutions.
Document and present to management on the overall state of multiple technology programs and projects, including machine learning, process automation, and artificial intelligence, with technical decisions, capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses, while helping to inform engineering priorities and product management.
Interface with both internal and external partners to understand, translate, and leverage technologies into transformative value for Digital Realty's global data center platform.
Serve as an experienced resource in the areas of AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, system design, and other emerging technologies.
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to recommend and design solutions that meet Digital Realty's needs.
Partner with IT and product management to support proofs of concept, demonstrations, and assist with implementing solutions into production as needed.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand their goals and needs, and design solutions to enable change within Digital Realty.
What You'll Need
Minimum of 8 years of experience leading the delivery of enterprise-wide programs.
Deep understanding of, and the ability to evaluate and lead emerging technologies, particularly machine learning, AI, and automation to improve workflows and operational performance.
Experience driving successful platform adoption programs, with the ability to demonstrate the business impact of such initiatives.
Comfortable operating independently while able to influence and quickly mobilize teams to generate content and deliver impactful results.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
Experience working in a global service provider or cloud environment is a plus.

Our Compensation Philosophy
Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee's total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
Compensation range: $192,000 - 285,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company's good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
