JOB DESCRIPTION
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under general supervision, performs Artificial Lift (AL) installations and pulls, routine checks, and troubleshooting.
- Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of ALs.
- Performs basic well production analysis and repair of AL equipment and tests, splices, and repairs cable. .
- Complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Train and mentor lower-level technicians at the well site.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Basic knowledge of SCADA communication
- Basic knowledge troubleshooting and repairing artificial lift equipment (Gas lift, ESP, Plunger)
- Mechanically inclined and organized.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Understanding of well optimization techniques and theories
- Ability to multitask.
