Job Description:

As a Material Handler, you’ll be involved in all processes of handling incoming parts, outgoing orders, stocking the warehouse, pulling BOM’s for truck builds, and keeping a clean and organized warehouse.

This position will be located at the Bloomington, MN branch for Aspen Equipment and reports to the Engineering Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Pulling/picking BOM’s for truck builds 

  • Assist walk-in customers with their orders

  • Receive and distribute UPS/Fed Ex shipments

  • Receive and check-in parts

  • Stock parts in correct locations

  • PO Receiving

  • Receive all ship-direct orders

  • Unload parts and shipments from carrier

  • Invoice all documents/orders on a daily basis

  • Will call order fulfillment

  • UPS Ship outs

  • LTL Ship outs

  • Maintain organization of the warehouse

  • Clean warehouse as needed to ensure it remains free of debris.

  • Resolve inventory issues when the Materials Manager is out of the office

  • Other duties as assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Basic computer skills

  • Forklift operation – Both stand-up and seated types

  • Comfort level with large Hyster forklift

  • Ability to understand fundamentals of mechanical systems as related to the commercial truck industry
