JOB SUMMARY Marshall B. Ketchum University, a private non-profit health care professions university, invites qualified applicants for full-time 12-month faculty appointments at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the fully accredited College of Pharmacy. The College is dedicated to excellence in education, service to the community at local and national levels, and research/scholarship. Working with an outstanding leadership team, the faculty will realize the College's goal of reimagining the future of interprofessional health care, establishing new standards of pharmacy practice based on the application of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. Successful candidate will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, mentor students, support College research initiatives, and participate in the service activities of the Department, College, and University.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Suitable candidates should have prior experience teaching in integrated curriculum and team-based learning in Pharmacy or healthcare-related programs and demonstrate implementation of active learning techniques in a classroom environment.
Candidates should demonstrate active involvement in research/scholarly activities, service at the university/local/national level, and academic pharmacy leadership experience.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, relevant training (postdoctoral/residency), and expertise primarily in the area of Pathophysiology/pharmacology.
