Senior Manufacturing Assistant - Technical Writer Location: Phoenix, AZ Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Assistant - Technical Writer to join our team! This person will provide a full range of support to the site management team, plant employees, vendors, contractors, and customers. Provide a first impression consistent with the Linde Spirit and world class safety. - Maintain a clean and well-organized work /office/meeting areas. - Perform plant wide Timelink Administration and basic maintenance tasks (Address clock issues. , Adjust timecards, Run reports, make adjustments, etc.) - Plant level management of the Linde SRM system, SAP PM support and Browz management including contractor qualification. - Process purchase requisitions consistent with Linde purchasing guidelines. Ordering production, shipping, consumables, and all other supplies to support the plant. - Manage and maintain Plant PCard and those of management team, ensuring prompt processing and matching of packing slips with statements. Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies. - Manage and maintain all site wide Banctec invoicing from vendors/contractors. Work with vendors, Accounts payable, shared services, and procurement to resolved discrepancies. - Process accounts payable consistent with Linde purchasing guidelines. - Maintain contractor qualification and review program consistent with Linde policy. - Process freight invoicing consistent with Linde policy. - Monitor phone system, providing prompt and courteous service to our employees, vendors, and customers. - LiMSS Specialist and technical writer for site work instructions. Maintain training and Traccess records for entire site. - Provide interface with HR to support new hires, benefits, and payroll programs. - Directly support customer and regulator audits related to quality systems requirements and compliance. - Support incoming goods quality inspections and documentation requirements. - Lead and support employee events and community outreach activities. - Host customer and senior Linde leadership site visits. - Be an active and visible leader in site safety. - Processing of new vendors by entering their information from the Vendor Add Linde page and verifying the high-risk work in Browz. - Purchasing of all plant supplies in SRM, working with procurement to establish vendors. - Processing of all Visa purchase cards, including submitting receipts and statements to Salesforce. - Work directly with shared services and utilize SalesForce as the primary contact for the plant Other duties as assigned What makes you great: - Associate degree required. Four-year degree highly desirable. Considerable professional experience and demonstrated proficiency may be substituted for four-year degree. - Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products. - Demonstrated proficiency with SAP a plus - Ability to type accurately at minimum 30 words per minute.
