Marsh Captive Solutions is seeking candidates for the following position which can be based in the US, Canada, Bermuda/Cayman Islands/Barbados.
The Islands Captive Sales Leader will play a critical role in driving overall growth, sales, strategy, and new captive formations for commercial life reinsurers, reinsurance special purpose captives, Cell captives (Bermuda and Cayman Islands) and P&C single parent captives.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the captive insurance market for commercial reinsurers, life reinsurers, property & casualty single parent, and cell captives.
Lead all new RFP (both defensive and offensive) for the Islands domiciles.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including law firms, life carrier partners, brokers, consultants, COIs and potential clients.
Collaborate with senior management to define and implement growth strategies for the captive insurance business.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on captive insurance structures, feasibility studies, and formation processes.
Assist the local domicile colleagues with the onboarding and the end-to-end process of captive formation, including regulatory approval, documentation, and ongoing management.
Assist with conducting financial analysis and risk assessments to recommend optimal captive solutions for clients.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, legal, and compliance, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in captive insurance, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
In-depth knowledge of captive insurance markets in Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Barbados, and the US with strong understanding of property, casualty, commercial reinsurance, and life reinsurance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $140,100 to $298,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
