RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Kforce client, a well-established manufacturer located in Seattle, WA area, is seeking a Project Accounting Manager to join their team.

Duties:


  • The Project Accounting Manager will develop and maintain project budgets, forecast, and financial models

  • Analyze project costs and revenues to evaluate profitability and performance

  • Prepare financial reports and presentation for project stakeholders

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements related to projects

  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures

  • Review and approve invoices related to project expenses

  • Work closely with project managers to understand requirements and financial issues that may arise

  • Team leadership - the Project Accounting Manager will supervise and mentor accounting staff working on project financials and foster a collaborative and productive work environment with the teams

  • Other duties as assigned







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 5 years of construction accounting experience

  • Knowledge of contract accounting and revenue recognition principles in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.

  • Software: strong accounting software - Microsoft Office products, Excel, other accounting software experience is welcomed

  • Time management - prioritize and multitask projects and deliver in a timely manner

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards, including business and sales and use tax regulations, applicable to project accounting

  • Collaborate with third party vendors






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
