Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Supervisor I in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) division at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Substance Use Disorder division with the following:
The Supervisor I has a diverse knowledge of biopsychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and aftercare planning dimensions of substance use disorder. Building off this knowledge, the Supervisor I is a key member of the treatment team beginning at intake. The Supervisor I oversees a team of Aftercare Coordinators and ensures high quality services are provided to incarcerated and sectioned individuals with an opiate use disorder (OUD) pre- and post- release.
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Substance Use Disorder division with the following:
Ensures that service delivery standards are maintained as established by the Hampden County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
Provides operational and administrative supervision to Aftercare Coordinators.
Manages the schedule that must be flexible for all staff, individuals served, and the program in order to meet the individuals/program needs. Ensures the work is covered by other staff members or covers themselves in case of staff absences.
Actively participates in Multidisciplinary Team meetings with HCSO clinical and medical staff.
Tracks and facilitates completion of Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) and other required treatment forms.
Reviews referrals daily and assigns appropriate staff (internal and external to BHN).
Ensures timely community follow up is completed and documented for individuals served releasing from HCSO.
Completes or assigns point of entry and related bridge script in Carelogic; communicates with provider for signature.
Coordinates and/or provides on-call availability for queuing bridge scripts.
Trains or assigns training of new staff in all aspects of aftercare planning at HCSO.
Serves as on-site point of contact for program related communications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This is an in-office opportunity, candidate must be comfortable working in a jail environment.

What are we looking for in a Supervisor I?
High School Diploma or GED plus 5-7 years' relevant experience in an SUD or related co-occurring position required, OR Associate's Degree in related field with 2-3 years' experience, OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification or Recovery Coach Certification additional plus for this position.
3 years' experience coaching peers to maintain efficiency and stability of the program.
1 year experience with Healthtrax, Trax, Carelogic and Dr. First strongly preferred.
3 years' experience helping to obtain resources and/or navigate systems to individuals with SUD and behavioral health problems.
3 years' experience advocating for individuals who have been incarcerated.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
