Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts. Recording and analyzing financial information. Communicating with lenders, clients, and suppliers. Assisting with daily, monthly, and yearly accounting activities and projects. Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives results and be able to collaborate with all members of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Record/process bank activity in accounting database.
Post customer payments to accounts and prepare deposits.
Monitor AR Aging and communicate with customers to resolve delinquencies.
Assist with customer maintenance.
Process AP invoices by performing 3-way match with invoice, purchase order, and packing slip.
Communicate with vendors regarding any discrepancies.
Prepare payments for disbursement.
Expense report reconciliation and processing.
Assist with vendor maintenance.
Month-end reconciliation.
General ledger data entry.
Assist in month-end account reconciliations.
Maintain month-end accruals.
Maintain fixed asset register.
Education/ Previous Experience:
Associates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
1+ years of experience in AP, AR, and General Ledger functions.
Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel and related financial systems; experience with IQMS (or other modern ERP system).
Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Process-driven; proven analytic and problem-solving abilities.
