Threat Tec, a leader in operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Battle Staff Training (BST) C2 Systems Integrator to join our team supporting Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) under the MARSOC SME FTE Support Program. The BST C2 Systems Integrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the MARSOC Simulation Center, ensuring the functionality and availability of all simulation equipment, supplies, and networks, and contributing to the successful execution of battle staff training and modeling and simulation (M&S) activities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage MARSOC Simulation Center: Oversee the daily operations, including the preparation, maintenance, and inventory of all simulation equipment, supplies, and networks.
Coordinate with Leadership: Collaborate with the M&S Director and Battle Staff Training Manager to design, plan, implement, and schedule battle staff training and M&S activities.
Develop Policies and Procedures: Establish and enforce policies and procedures for the effective management of the Simulation Center, ensuring compliance with program policies and training objectives.
Ensure Technology Functionality: Ensure that all computers and technologies are fully operational and that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.
Network Monitoring and Analysis: Provide regular monitoring and analysis of network performance for both short- and long-term planning of in-house systems.
Schedule Coordination: Manage the scheduling of Simulation Center facilities (classrooms, conference rooms, training areas) to prevent conflicts and ensure optimal utilization.
Articulate Fielding Requirements: Identify and articulate fielding requirements for new M&S and C2 systems and upgrades to existing systems.
Qualifications
Prior Military Service: Experience with Systems Administration or knowledge of warfighting and simulation systems, including but not limited to:
Joint Tactical Command Workstation (JTCW)
MAGTF Tactical Warfare Simulation (MTWS)
Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS)
Tactical Control System (TCS)
Global Command and Control System (GCCS)
Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF)
Target Handoff System Version 2 (THSv2)
Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)
Technical Skills: Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting voice communications systems, Windows and Linux systems.
Experience: Minimum of five years' experience implementing system upgrades, configuration changes, and security patches while maintaining system functionality.
IT Certifications: Required certifications include Windows Operating System and CompTIA Security + CE (or equivalent or higher).
Education: High School Diploma required; educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience.
C4I Systems Knowledge: At least five years of experience with military C4I systems' operational and technical integration and system administration. Ability to recognize and troubleshoot C4I system problems to ensure the continued execution of war gaming events.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, guests, vendors, and team members at all levels.
Proficiency in MS Office: Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
Clearance: Must have an active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
Driver's License: Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working within a military or government simulation center or in a similar role.
Familiarity with MARSOC's operational environment and simulation requirements.
