Support field crews with interpreting drawings and specs
Perform quantity calculations and measurements
Assist in work planning and surveying
Compile labor timesheets and safety tasks
Assist with ordering of material, deliveries and field operations
Attend pre-shift meetings
Assist in the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's)
Office Engineering:
Perform material takeoffs and basic calculations
Aid in data gathering and document preparation - RFIs, daily reports, etc.
Assist in procurement and maintenance
Aid in project record keeping and cost reports
Assist with change orders and subcontractor operations
Qualifications
Must be willing and able to work in the heavy Civil, Construction Industry
Ability to work full-time during the summer (approximately May-August)
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field with a current minimum GPA of 3.0
Valid Current Drivers License
