The Cybersecurity Analyst conducts routine audits on computer systems and networks to ensure secure operations and data protection from both internal and external threats. They evaluate assigned systems to determine their security status and ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
Perform Army RMF assessments for Information Systems.
Design and recommend security policies and procedures.
Manage information systems using eMASS.
Develop policies governing the organization's information systems.
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems in line with DoD and industry security best practices, safeguarding internal information systems and databases.
Review system configurations to ensure they meet security requirements and comply with established standards.
Investigate security violations and recommend solutions.
Advise developers and system administrators on implementing various STIGs.
Conduct source code reviews for security concerns.
Provide reports to internal and external customers in response to queries and requests for computer security information.
Consult on tasks, providing leadership and guidance for others.
Recommend product upgrades, patches, and general security measures to secure and/or mitigate threats for various clients.
Perform Army Portfolio Management System (APMS) package management for AMRDEC Information Systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience required. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Experience working with system/network vulnerability scanning tools.
Must possess an active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent NIST 8570 certifications.
Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
