Job Summary
The Main PACU is a 28-bay unit providing 24/7 specialized peri-anesthesia care to patients across the lifespan and spectrum of acuity, 365 days a year. Vigilant pre and post-operative care is provided to inpatients and outpatients undergoing scheduled or emergency surgery by more than 20 surgical and procedural services. This team's versatility serves patients treated by a broad array of surgical and medical specialties, providing a variety of clinical experiences for the life-long learner. Nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration and fluid resuscitation.

Qualifications
Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice under a compact license;
BSN preferred (Associates Nurses with at least 1+ years of experience);
All applicants must have at least 1-2 yrs. preferred experience in ICU such as Surgical, Medical, and Neuro in an inpatient facility
Minimum 1 year ICU experience required. Surgical/trauma ICU preferred.
