The Marketing Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support General Marketing functions and projects by utilizing a strong knowledge of industry practices and standards. This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of various marketing activities.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
Develop marketing materials for various platforms.
Facilitate execution of customer requests to ensure delivery expectations are met.
Collaborate with managers to develop and execute projects.
Analyze market data and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Monitor the accuracy of all marketing materials.
Provide accurate and timely proofing, fact-checking, copywriting, editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of new product launch marketing materials.
Execute the implementation of merchandising programs for various initiatives, and collaborate with merchandising programs manager to systematically report on key metrics.
Assists with marketing campaigns as part of the strategic annual plan to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
Facilitate day-to-day marketing support for various teams.
Help manage and strategize the development of product sales tools and marketing campaigns to support product launches.
Develop training materials as needed for new initiatives as needed.
Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
Use innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2-4 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good understanding of current and trending digital technologies.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, and Premiere.
Competencies:
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
