The facility maintenance technician plays a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems. They are responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities specific to a pharmaceutical setting, adhering to strict regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Here's What You'll Do
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, potential issues, and develop preventive maintenance plans.
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
Troubleshoot complex problems with facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure, and provide technical expertise to resolve issues.
Oversee and perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of facility systems.
Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.
Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.
Military training equivalent of above is acceptable.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting facility's infrastructure
PREFERRED SKILLS - In-depth knowledge of various facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.

This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna's site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work.
