About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Environmental Management Specialist to join our team. As a Community Environmental Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental management plans and programs for communities. You will work closely with community leaders, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices. Your work will have a significant impact on the environment and the well-being of the communities we serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental management or related field
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field
  • Experience working with diverse communities
  • Certification in environmental management or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and programs for communities
  • Collaborate with community leaders, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  • Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies
  • Provide technical assistance and training to community members on environmental issues
  • Promote sustainable practices and environmental awareness within communities

Skills:

As a Community Environmental Management Specialist, you will utilize your strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies to develop and implement environmental management plans and programs for communities.
