The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in the Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking board certified/eligible applicants at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinician Educator or Medical Center lines who can contribute to the Division's clinical and research enterprise. Areas of emphasis include solid tumors, with a record of successful collaboration and mentorship.
Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will participate in patient care activities in the ambulatory and inpatient environments, collaborate in the conduct of clinical trials, engage in efforts to improve the quality of patient care, and conduct scholarly work. Educating medical students, residents, and fellows in formal and informal settings is also a high priority. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in all Division clinical, research, and educational activities.
This recruitment supports an ongoing initiative in the Department of Pediatrics to expand the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and its research, educational, and clinical programs. Successful applicants will have demonstrated outstanding (or the promise of outstanding) clinical leadership relevant to pediatric hematology/oncology. Successful candidates must have an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board certified or eligible for certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Clinical Assistant Professor: $206,000 - $230,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $251,000 - $275,000
Clinical Professor: $312,000 - $340,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
