HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
We are seeking a talented Lead Cloud Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions that address our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, architectural proficiency, and the ability to drive consensus on architectural decisions across diverse teams.
Work in an Agile framework to identify and automate solutions that result in enhanced developer experience and increased developer productivity
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and define cloud architectures that meet business objectives
Experience designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable Infrastructure on Azure
Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and support existing projects and processes; collaborate with various cross-functional teams to determine and define software requirements and propose software solutions
Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices
Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization, performance improvement, and risk mitigation
Define and maintain architectural principles, patterns, and guidelines to guide solution development and implementation
Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategies
Provide technical subject matter expertise and work with a wider team to ensure development activities are aligned with the scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solution architecture and technology innovation
Define and establish benchmarks, metrics, and quality measures
Focus on the implementation of cost-effective, extensible, and supportable solutions
Support the stability and resiliency of all relevant production processes, as well as, instituting a robust support model addressing process and application failures
Maintaining and upgrading the deployment platforms as well as system infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or ARM templets or PowerShell or similar
Troubleshooting AKS cluster-based issues, deployment through the ADO pipeline
CLI, Powershell, ARMExperience working with teams to deliver complete azure solutions (security, operations, engineering, application team)
Evaluate and integrate productivity tools, development tools, testing tools, databases, and purchased applications into this architecture
Work with the leaders of Technology Infrastructure and Application Development to ensure effective operational tools and procedures are in place to support the application architecture

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
10+ years of experience in software or solution architecture roles, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level solutions using cloud platform.
10-15 years of computer system experience of which time was spent in systems development and in support of the computer systems environment.
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
Related certifications are a plus (e.g. AZ-900, AZ-305)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field OR documented equivalent experience
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural frameworks. Proficiency in various programming languages, technologies, and platforms relevant to the organization's technology stack.
Application Foundation: CloudFlare CDN, Azure API Management, Azure Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Server, Azure Storage Account, Atlas MongoDB
Observability: Azure Monitor
