The Operations Finance Manager is responsible for overall finance support to the operations group. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, experience in a corporate accounting environment is preferred, and good interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills are required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and a minimum of 3 years of construction accounting experience
Travel: 5-10%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Operations Leaders to ensure accurate, complete and timely data.
Partner with Operations Leaders and Finance Department to assist in management of financial reporting, budgeting and analysis.
Develops relationships with leaders, direct reports, and/or others that facilitate open dialogue and trust.
Active in ongoing improvement/innovation of processes, procedures and tools.
Identify project financial status (risk and opportunity) by analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Assist with establishing and maintaining internal controls in financial reporting.
Assist in month-end financial close.
Monitor project cash flow (DSO, Over/Under Billing, Net Cash).
Accounting system development & maintenance.
Various reporting and analysis as requested by Operations.
Demonstrates the ability to plan for, complete, and implement assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner.
Demonstrates an acceptance of the company culture (adhere to the company's core values) and an adoption of professional standards.
Demonstrates approachability and ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned .
