Job Description:

Engagement Manager (Utilities) - Service Delivery - Remote (PST/MST)


The Select Group is seeking an Engagement Manager to support our Utilities industry. This role will involve managing our consultant population to monitor various aspects of projects, including scope, schedule, deliverables, quality, and resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in a consultant supportive role mainly from an operational perspective and sit in either Mountain or Pacific Standard Time zone.

Responsibilities:


Operational:

  • HR Management

  • On/Off Boarding

  • Time Tracking (approvals, edits, PTO, Sick, etc.)



Collaborative:
  • Consultant care and workforce management

  • Consultant primary POC (Manager/Stakeholder relations)

  • Partnering with EM to understand and drive towards client's business objectives


Continuous Improvement by partnering with other Engagement Managers on:
  • Performance Reviews

  • Training and Skills Assessments

  • Monitor Weekly/Monthly Work plans

  • Productivity Improvement


Tracking & Reporting by partnering with other Engagement Managers on:
  • KPI metrics & data collection

  • High level project status updates




Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in staffing, managed solutions or consulting services industry

  • IT staffing, MS or consulting experience

  • Experience in a Consultant supportive role including:
    • Exposure to contracts and client obligations

    • Experience supporting the onboarding and consultant experience

    • Experience communicating with consultants (phone, email, meetings, etc.)


  • 4-year degree at an accredited College (or equivalent business experience)

  • Self-starter or ability to take initiative

  • Organized with keen attention to details

  • Problem solving and critical thinking

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Support high volume of consultant employees across multiple clients simultaneously

  • Basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)

  • Must be located in Mountain or Pacific Standard Time zone.
