TheAgile Coachis a multi-disciplinary coach with an extensive breadth of knowledge and experience with enterprise level, cross-organizational, transformations with business, technology, and product teams utilizing concepts from Lean/Agile and other disciplines as may apply. At Cigna Group, the enterprise coach works primarily with organizational leaders, under the guidance and direction of the leader of the Agile Transformation organization. The Enterprise Coach has hands-on and practical experience in enterprise environments that enable him or her to advise on a variety of scenarios that have been proven in the industry. They are accountable for building relationships and having the right conversations.
In order to ensure consistency of practices, this position will leverage Cigna's Enterprise Agile assets, Enterprise Operating Model and related guidance when working with our internal organizations. Active participation with the Enterprise Agile team will be expected to co-create and refine training, reference materials, and other guidelines/documents used by Enterprise Agile . The candidate should exemplify core Lean-Agile values in all interactions, while demonstrating both proactive and reactive coaching styles as appropriate. Doing so will require the application of foresight, insight, and hindsight to help our team and our constituents continuously improve.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability and experience to coach and scale agile methods with people at every level of the enterprise. This includes the portfolio through to team level, both local and distributed, and in areas having various levels of maturity. The candidate should also have experience integrating Lean-Agile planning and delivery processes with organizational leaders representing both IT and the business in order to enable business Agility. As a coaching leader, the Enterprise Coach is expected to collaborate, mentor, and help develop the coaching staff to continuously improve and grow their coaching skills.
The enterprise coach has a holistic view of an organization and works across boundaries to accelerate the business agility journey. They are uniquely positioned to partner with organizational leadership to co-create meaningful and sustained change. Emphasis on assessing an organization's current design and structure and achieving business agility through leadership and culture as a change agent. Integrating the Agile development process with an organization's business is essential to achieving business Agility.
The ideal candidate is accountable for embodying, promoting, and supporting organizational agility. The Enterprise Agile Coach will provide mentoring, consulting, and guidance on applying agile and lean values, principles, and practices and their application within the organization. T he Coach will utilize their in-depth knowledge and experience in the application of agile, lean, Scrum, and Kanban to inspect and adapt thinking and practices to the various situations within the Cigna enterprise.
In this senior agile position, the Enterprise Agile Coach will be a strategic partner and thought leader for an organization transitioning to agile and lean ways of working. The coach will collaborate across the organization with multiple teams (co-located and distributed), leaders, and individuals, helping them to fully understand how to apply appropriate agile and lean frameworks and behaviors to deliver technology solutions supporting our products in a complex utility environment.
In addition, given the unique needs of our environment , it would be beneficial if this candidate could demonstrate prior Product Owner or Portfolio Management experience.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 110,300 - 183,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
