Client job description:
Actively recruiting (2) CDI/Inpatient Coding Consultants to join our Revenue Cycle Management Team.
The ideal candidate is action oriented and looking to learn and grow with the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Review hospital accounts for coding or documentation errors
- Work with our team to analyze increased reimbursement opportunities
- Work with hospital staff to submit accounts for rebilling
- Query physicians for additional information to support correct coding and billing
- Work with hospital staff to provide training and information to support correct coding and billing
- Gain exposure to our proprietary tools and technology
- Travel to community hospitals and healthcare organizations to offer clients hands-on support
Minimum Job Requirements
- Certified in inpatient coding (CIC, CPC or CRC)
- 3 years of CDI and inpatient coding experience
- Strong analytics/data science skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Takes initiative to complete tasks rapidly and accurately
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
- Travel to client sites (10-15% max)
