Job Description:

GPI is seeking three (3) data technicians to join the Traffic Department data collection team to serve as accident record support staff. The candidates will assist the existing NJDOT and GPI staff with processing and validating incident data, including organizing mailed cases, verifying electronic submissions, and managing support tasks. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This work will be performed from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Ewing NJ offices.
GPI will train the reviewer regarding the NJTR-1 Reports before starting the position at the NJDOT. All other training will be on the job. The position is for a minimum of one (1) year.

Responsibilities:
Compile and organize daily data received from various sourcesReview and sort data for errorsTrack and maintain accurate records of dataCoordination with other GPI staffRun basic queries on the dataDocument work on a daily basis and provide status updates to GPI Project ManagerReport progress and coordinate with the GPI and NJDOT Project ManagerPerform quality control as neededWork with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth or similar imagery, Adobe Acrobat and potentially other NJDOT programsOpportunity to work with PostgreSQLGenerally, work a 40-hour work week
Qualifications:
High School graduate or A.S. degree is preferred0-5 years of experience working with dataBe able to work from the NJDOT Ewing, NJ OfficesProficiency with Microsoft Office software is requiredReliable transportation to access job and a valid drivers license in good standingReliable, responsible, punctual and professionalExcellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and GPI team membersProficiency in data entry and analysisAbility to prioritize effectivelySelf-motivatedStrong organizational skills with attention to detailFamiliar with incident reporting systems is a plusProgramming experience is a plus
